Bailey
Liz called me out of the blue to help her find her lost doggy (Bailey). I just knew I would follow my instincts and find Bailey. A very happy outcome.
We are so grateful to you for your kindness in helping us to look for Bailey today. You obviously have a very big, kind heart! It was a pleasure to meet you. Thank you so much for the happiness you bring others!
Love from Bailey’s mum & dad (Ian & Liz)
Cindy
My Gentle 12 year old Kelpie X Cindy was viciously attacked by another dog last year.
After 3 operations to reconstruct Cindy’s face and loosing her hearing completely form her right ear, Cindy was left so frightened, tense and upset; I had to do something to help her.
I contacted Doggy Bliss and along came Griselda.
Cindy was very tense on her first visit but seemed to work out what Griselda was all about.
The second visit went well with Cindy relaxing and progress being made.
Third and fourth visits saw Cindy running out to the car to great Griselda and cooperating well with everything asked of her.
Griselda is a patient and caring person whose visits have been very beneficial for Cindy.
Thank you Griselda

Hi Griselda,
Madison (our 8 year old Boxer) has been a client of yours for the last few months and I am writing to you to say a big THANK YOU!
Our precious girl has had arthritis for about a year and stopped jumping up onto our bed at about the same time. We felt sorry for her as it was her favourite place to lie and look out the window into the street. We tried arthritis medication from our vet which definitely made her more comfortable, but she still couldn’t get onto our bed. After about five massage sessions with you, she was easily and happily jumping up onto the bed again!
We are so pleased to see her so happy, and we will definitely continue her
massage therapy with you.
Thank you again,
Issa, Emily & Princess Madison
Jasper
We have an 18 month old Lakeland Terrier who is very active she loves to jump, bound, run and play rough & tumble. We first heard about Doggy Bliss through Alexis from Scholars in Collars, where Jasper was trained, Alexis suggested Jasper having a massage to relax her leg muscles. So we booked our first appointment with Griselda.
Griselda came to our house, massage table and bags in hand, Jasper greeted her at the door with loads of jumps and licks. Knowing dogs are sometimes a better judge of character than humans, we felt immediately at ease. Griselda spent time going through Jasper’s history, likes dislikes, personality and diet taking time to listen to our stories along the way. When it came to Jasper getting on the massage table, Jasper didn’t hesitate and fell into Grizelda’s arms allowing her to manipulate her joints and muscles.
Several massages later, Jasper is excited to see Griselda and knows her time to relax is coming soon! She falls asleep with no problem on the massage table and spend the rest of her day in a dazed but peaceful state. Jasper suffered a minor hip injury as a puppy and we have noticed an occasional skip since her injury. Griselda sourced the problem straight away and Jasper’s skip is slowly fading leaving us with a happy, calm, centred and relaxed dog.
I can’t recommend Doggy Bliss highly enough, anyone with a dog, big or small should invest in their well being and treat their best friend to a massage, they’ll thank you for it!
Lottie & Pablo
Griselda is one of the most positive and inspiring people I know. She’s passionate about her work and never misses an opportunity to learn more about how to make dogs happier and healthier. She just has a way with animals…she’s very intuitive but also very knowledgeable.
I recently had to part with my beloved Brittany spaniel, Lottie. She was 15 ½ (that’s pretty old for a Brittany) and I attribute her long life partly to the excellent Barf diet Griselda has supplied over the years.
My 3 year old Spoodle, Pablo, loves his Barf and he adores Griselda! He’s also really appreciated a couple of expert massages he’s had from her.
It’s a real pleasure dealing with Griselda, and I would trust her totally to pet sit Pablo and my two cats Boof and Yushi.
Griselda takes a genuine interest in her clients and their four legged families. She is warm, caring and nothing is too much trouble for her. It’s been wonderful seeing the success Griselda has had over the past few years and watching her business grow and diversify.

Rusty & Ricky
Rusty received his first massage as a treat for his 10th birthday in July 2009. I’d recently introduced a new puppy (Ricky) to the house and thought the massage might help ease aches and pains associated with arthritis and being pounced on by the puppy. I’d previously been treating his arthritis with acupuncture and anti-inflammatory tablets, but discovered with the introduction of regular massage the need for the tablets decreased, and the acupuncture was complementary to the massage.
I had previously been feeding my version of a raw diet, but around this time I also discovered BARF – so much easier than making your own! Rusty just loved it, and I also introduced it to Ricky as well. Rusty has always had a soft coat, but if possible, with the introduction of BARF it got softer! His breath was much fresher too.
Unfortunately, Rusty is no longer with us, but I know the regular massage helped to improve his quality of life and alleviate the pain associated with arthritis. You could tell Rusty enjoyed his massages very much. I would often sit and watch Griselda working her magic on him and the look of sheer bliss and relaxation on his face was a sight to see. He even dozed off on the table a couple of times!

Solo’s story
Solo is an Alaskan Malamute that I have worked with extensively over the last few years. Like many large breed dogs, Alaskan Malamutes are prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, which led to Solo having surgery on both elbows in 2009.
As a 2 year old he made the front cover of the RSPCA Million Paws walk 2010. Without massage therapy, hydrotherapy and physio this would not have been possible. Solo now walks like a normal dog.
Toby
My Pomeranian X Maltese had a luxating patella that required surgery. This surgery was very stressful on him, and without the love, support and after surgery care from Griselda, I am certain that Toby would not have come as far as he has in the time frame he did.
Rehabilitation after surgery is so important and with Griselda coming to our home, it made it that much more comfortable and securing for Toby as he is not all that good with strangers. Griselda made special work outs for Toby that I could do in my time to make his recovery so much more speedy.
I highly recommend the services of Doggy Bliss, it is personalized, caring and real!

Zac
In May 2009 we took our beloved German Shepherd Zac to Sydney to have the Adicell stem cell treatment for arthritis as it was not available in Adelaide at the time. The scans revealed that in addition to arthritis, Zac also had spondylosis and a spur on the spine.
After the treatment it seemed that he was losing muscle and flexibility and it was recommended that we try some massage therapy to get him back into form.
Griselda has been massaging Zac regularly since Sept and we can see that it is making a huge difference to his mobility. We felt it was particularly important to keep his front end mobile as this section does more work when he is getting up and down.
We have also changed his diet to BARF and the combination of these two changes as well as a change in medication, has given us a much happier, healthier and mobile dog. As devotees of regular massages ourselves, it seemed a sensible thing to do for our much loved pet.
Zac loves his regular visits from Griselda.
Thank you Griselda for all your care and assistance
Zahr
Hello,
My name is Zahr. I am 13 1/2 years of age and like most of us as we age; we get age old problems, one of them being arthritis.
Late last year, whilst I was down having fun on the beach with my Mum, a most amazing and kind person came into my life. Her name is Griselda Nelson and one of her many specialities is Massage Therapy to doggies like me. Not long after that meeting on the beach I had my first appointment with this beautiful lady, (who visits me at my home which is great) on November 10th, 2009. Gosh that massage session was so fantastic and relaxing, I absolutely loved it.
I have now had quite a few of these relaxing massage sessions and my mummy and I have certainly noticed as huge difference both mentally and physically and my range of movement has improved, especially in my hindquarters, where unfortunately my arthritis has taken a strong hold.
I really truly love my Auntie Griselda and each time she arrives for my session, I go absolutely nuts, I am so excited I feel like old age is yet very far away because I know once her magic hands go on me, things start to loosen up and I feel so much better.
For any doggies (and their Mummies or Daddies) out there, who have read my story, please give my Auntie Griselda a go, she really and truly has magic hands
Zahr Dalos.
